MC Daleste Shot On Stage: Watch As Brazilian Rapper Is Killed While Performing In Campinas [GRAPHIC VIDEO]

On Saturday night in the Campinas Township outside Sao Paulo Brazil, rapper MC Daleste was fatally shot while on stage performing. A spectator in the crowd caught the incident on their phone. In the video MC Daleste is seen on stage rapping when he suddenly doubles over and falls down.

Those on stage with the injured rapper quickly rush to his side. MC Daleste was taken to the hospital where he later died from his injury.

Daniel Pellegrine also known as MC Daleste was a 20-year-old musician from Brazil and a member of the "Funk" scene in Sao Paulo. This particular genre of funk rap is particularly violent. In one of MC Daleste's songs, "Apologia" the rapper talks about killing cops and list weapons to use while the sound of guns loops in the background.

MC Daleste was performing at a public housing complex when he was attacked. There have been no official reports as to a motive behind the shooting. There is also no word on suspects in this case.

The funk rapper has a large and loyal following in Brazil. His Facebook page was filled with comments expressing sadness over his death and prayers for his family.

So far the graphic video showing the moment the rapper was struck by a bullet has 5,830,713 views and that number is still growing.
