Matt Gaetz wasted no time marking his territory at One America News Network's new Pentagon workspace, one that once belonged to CNN, as President Donald Trump replaces legacy media press offices with conservative outlets.
"That's our new office! And at @OANN we'd never leave the place such a mess. I'm sure @gabbycuccia will spruce things up," Gaetz posted to X Thursday.
That’s our new office!

His remarks come amid a sweeping shake-up at the Pentagon's press offices, which has seen multiple mainstream media outlets—including CNN, The Washington Post, and The Hill—lose their workspace under a new "media rotation program" instituted by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. The program aims to make room for right-wing outlets that previously had little or no presence inside the Pentagon.
CNN, which lost its Pentagon workspace as part of the changes, responded to the move, stating: "CNN's mission to report on the Department of Defense, US military and Trump Administration will continue regardless of office arrangements. We will not be deflected from our duty to hold all three fairly and fully to account."
Former Florida congressman Gaetz joined One America News Network (OANN) in December after pulling out of his bid for Trump's Attorney General amid scandals, including allegations of sexual misconduct and having sexual encounters with a minor. But his baggage didn't stop OANN from welcoming him.
