Mark Consuelos’ wife, Kelly Ripa, recently shared a hilarious throwback photo of their two children, Michael and Lola. The snap was taken during a time when their kids met the Easter Bunny.
In the photo, which Ripa posted on her Instagram account, Michael, 21, is smiling from ear to ear while holding a fake carrot. Lola, on the other hand, is sitting on the lap of a bunny mascot, and she’s crying. The adorable young girl appears to be traumatized by the adorable bunny.
“Couldn’t wait til Thursday to throw back to Easter Bunny 2002,” Ripa captioned the photo. “I showed you mine, you show me yours. Go to KellyandRyan.com to send Buntastic pics,” she added.
Consuelos and Ripa’s only daughter saw the photo and immediately dropped a comment at the bottom of the post. She revealed that her biggest fear is when people dress up in costumes because it terrifies her.
Lola’s comment was not a first on her mom’s social media account. In fact, the teenager is known for expressing her unfiltered opinions, especially when she sees her parents’ PDA photos online.
Last month, Ripa posted a photo of herself with Consuelos hugging her from the waist. The talk show host captioned the sweet photo with the words “those hands.” Lola immediately responded to the post by asking her mom if the caption was necessary. Ripa jokingly replied to her daughter by saying “gurl bye.”
Three weeks ago, Ripa posted a photo of Consuelos raising his share up and showing off his abs. Lola commented on the post by telling her mom that she just reported the post to Instagram. “Lola, shouldn’t you be reading a book or something?” Ripa jokingly answered.
Two years ago, Ripa appeared on “The Tonight Show” where she told host Jimmy Fallon that her kids have tried to talk her out of posting their embarrassing photos on social media. The “Kelly And Ryan” host said that she finds her kids’ demand bizarre, and Fallon agreed that Ripa should be allowed to post photos of her children. “Why did I have these kids if not to exploit them on social media?” Ripa asked Fallon.
