“Your first love does not always come in the right order.” With those words Marjorie de Sousa and Julian Gil confirmed their rekindled relationship six years after breaking up. The “Sueño de Amor” costars took their romance to Instagram, where they posted the same photo with the same caption and tagging each other in case you were still wondering if they were or weren’t for real. The photo shows the couple hiking together while holding hands and facing their backs to the cameras.

The rekindled romance also came as a surprise because back in 2010, after the couple had dated for a year, they were involved in a nasty break up that included Marjorie throwing out Julian’s clothes out the window of the apartment they shared. Eventually they worked things out and became friendly, and even worked together years after the break up and before the new telenovela they just wrapped up.

The pair waited until they were done shooting “Sueño de Amor,” a Juan Osorio production, before they went public with their romance. According to a Mexican publication, De Sousa and Gil had been dating for months before they announced the big news. This shocked their fans, since they were known exes who had already worked together in “Hasta el fin del Mundo” after their break up, and no reconciliation had taken place, so their followers didn’t think the two working together again was a big deal.

Earlier this year, Julian ended his relationship with his girlfriend Ana Lorena in February, and Marjorie was just coming out of a major scandal involving Gabriel Soto after rumors had started that the two became romantically involved when doing the play “Why Men Love Bitches” in Mexico. It seems that De Sousa and Gil both found out comfort in each other and that’s when things between them began taking a turn into the romantic side.
