After living a short romance, Adrián Uribe and Marjorie De Sousa decided it was best for both parts to call it quits. The Venezuelan bombshell surprised everyone at the 2015 Premios Juventud Red Carpet by assuring the media that she is 100 percent single! She even stated that with such a busy schedule, she barely had time for herself, let alone a relationship: “I’m single, I don’t have a boyfriend but I’m very happy and blessed with life.”
Uribe, who once seemed very enthusiastic about sharing his feelings for De Sousa with the world, told TVnotas his side of the story and confirmed the break-up: “There was never an actual relationship, we went out, but it didn’t happen. A woman like her is everyone’s type, but there’s a lot of things involved, and sometimes you don’t have the time you wish you had to be devoted to someone.”
Shortly after the relationship ended, Marjorie began to be romantically linked to José Manuel Figueroa, Joan Sebastian’s son. Rumor has it: Figueroa attempted to take over a project the actress was working on with “El Rey del Jaripeo,” which brought the couple closer…as friends. Or at least that’s what De Sousa told the cameras during the Kid’s Choice Awards Red Carpet:
“No, no, no, that is completely false. We are partners, I know José Manuel for a while now, we had something we needed to finish for the telenovela and we couldn’t do it, but no, we are very good partners.”
The stunning blonde also shared she will be singing with Mariachis during Televisa’s “Fiesta Mexicana” in September, in which the network will be paying tribute to Joan Sebastian.
