Mariah Carey made her Vegas debut at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas last Wednesday. Days before the big event, Mariah was questioned about the future of her residency in the Sin City. As we all know, the singer’s trademark consists of piercing high notes being unleashed throughout her songs.

Carey’s show comprises her 18 number one hit singles in chronological order (1990-2008), and ends with her new single “Infinity,” a ballad that is rumored to be dedicated to ex-husband Nick Cannon. Mixed reviews of the singer’s show have been released, and the most frequent critique is that the singer can’t quite hold those high notes 100% anymore, we will have to go see her life in order to comment on those.

The most recent report about the Diva’s Vegas show however, is that she is making some crazy demands to her producers. Life & Style reported that Carey is showing her true colors and banned showgirls from her show. “Mariah demanded that no showgirls, and no women, period, could be a part of the event, to ensure that all eyes would be on her,” an exclusive source told the magazine.

The contact also comments that, “Mariah demanded that the male performers and dancers needed to be paler than her, to ensure she looked tanned at the event.”

And it doesn’t stop there, Mariah also asked for a driver to be available for her 24/7, the mandatory use of hand sanitizer for anyone in charge of handling her things, a humidifier in her room, and prohibited all smoking near her. Also on the list, an unlimited supply of Fiji water for her tea, and apparently that is not the end of it, the magazine wouldn’t display all of the Diva’s demands on their website.

If you are interested to find out more about it, the latest issue of Life & Style magazine is available on newsstands now.
