Ever since the liplock seen around the world at the Latin GRAMMYs between Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez, many people have bene hoping and praying that the former couple will give things another shot. While reports have been circulating that Anthony is still in love with J.Lo, he may be setting himself up for failure. It is being reported that the Bronx native has no interest in rekindling with her former flame.
According to E! News, J.Lo has no plans on mixing business with pleasure in the present and near future.Although sources have been claiming that Marc Anthony is "still in love" with J.Lo and he is pulling out all the stops to win her back, the "Booty" singer is just not interested.
"She is not looking to get back together with him," an insider tells the network.
While this is not the result most people have hoped for, it is easy to see why the sionger doesn't want to cross that line again. Anthony has just recently split from his wife, model Shannon De Lima and with talks of his feelings for the singer parts of the divorce, the situation would be very messy.
J.Lo herself is also getting used to the dating scene again after breaking things off for good with her on-again off-again boyfriend Casper Smart. After cheating issues began to spin out of control, the singer couldn't deal anymore and ended things.
While J.Lo will always have love and respect for Anthony, a reconcilation between the two is very unlikely. The two are set to hit the studio as Anthony will be serving as the executive producer for her second Spanish-language album. Excited for the collaboration, Anthony is elated to work with his talented ex-wife again.
"Jennifer has had enormous accomplishments in her career and has been representing our culture all over the world from day one,” Marc Anthony said in a statement. “Her artistry, professionalism and passion for music are just some of the many attributes that have earned her a unique place in the entertainment world that very few people have been able to obtain. I am looking forward to our creative collaboration and to be part of continuing her musical legacy.”
