Manhunt Underway for Suspected Employee After Ohio Warehouse Shooting Kills 1 and Injures 5

A manhunt is underway for a suspected employee who officials believe shot multiple people after opening fire in an Ohio warehouse.

The shooting began around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday at a warehouse for the beauty products manufacturing company KDC/One. One person is confirmed dead, and another five people were reported injured, according to city officials.

The New Albany Police Department identified the suspect as 28-year-old Bruce Reginald Foster III. The man was an employee at the facility, WBNS reported.

Police Chief Greg Jones said that the shooting seemed to be a "targeted type of attack," although no motive has been released, as reported by WCMH.

Foster was reportedly at the warehouse for several hours, along with around 150 other individuals, before he allegedly opened fire. He then fled the scene and has not yet been found by police and local authorities, WLWT reported.

A handgun was found recovered at the scene. Although police said Foster does not drive and was seen being driven away, they do not believe he had an accomplice in the attack.

The conditions and identities of the victims have not been shared.
