Man Accused Of Beating Former Partner And Abducting Their 11-Month-Old Baby

A Nigerian neurosurgeon who is known for her radio show and her humanitarian efforts, took to social media to highlight the plight of a young mother. Yolanda George-David, also known as Aunt Landa, on Instagram demanded justice for the woman. The victim claims that her child’s father had beaten her and taken the breastfeeding infant from her. She hopes that she is reunited with her child and the man is brought to justice.

The victim of assault claims that she had been dating the 25-year-old man Ibrahim Oladipo in 2018. The couple had been together when the woman, identified as Dania Ebunoluwa by GH Gossip, became pregnant. She claims that when she told her partner about the pregnancy, he and his mother refused to accept the child. The duo pressurized the woman to get an abortion.

Refusing to abort the fetus, Ebunoluwa decided to keep the baby. While she was still pregnant, she met another man who agreed to marry her despite her being pregnant. The couple was supposed to get married on May 4, 2020. However, sometime before the wedding, Oladipo approached the woman and her family claiming that he wanted to marry her.

The woman’s father, a retired naval commander, put off the engagement after the man’s proposal of marriage. Oladipo reportedly stopped contacting the woman’s family after the marriage was canceled. Two months later he informed the family that he was no longer interested in marrying Ebunoluwa. The woman claims he called off the wedding as he got another woman pregnant.

On May 16, 2020, the victim claims she was tricked into meeting Oladipo at a restaurant. He was accompanied by another woman. At the restaurant, the man assaulted and berated the victim before snatching the child away.

He refused to return the infant to his mother. The woman’s family approached the police. According to Emmanuel’s Blog, the woman’s family was humiliated by the police. She finally saw the child when the man appeared at the police station on June 2. She claims the police handed the child over to the father and turned the woman’s family away.

Seeking help from the famous radio host, the mother of the infant hopes to reunite with the child.
