Some MAGA Republicans are celebrating over what they say is the imminent release of the "Epstein Files," information allegedly concerning the late notorious sex trafficker.
"The Epstein list is going to be released and much more is coming. There is currently a war raging within. The resistance within will be beaten and the truth will be revealed," said Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, adding that she is "proud" of the work by Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI director Kash Patel.
Greene went on to say that the FBI refused to hand over the files before Patel took his post, while Bondi has "requested the rest of the files from FBI Director Kash Patel and they will be delivered tomorrow to Pam Bondi's desk."
"AG Bondi will release the documents only protecting victim's identity which is the right thing to do. AG Bondi is releasing today everything she currently has. AG Bondi and FBI Director Patel are doing a great job! Dream team!!" she added.
Rep. Nancy Mace and Sen. Marsha Blackburn also weighed in on the matter, with the former saying "love to see women taking the lead on exposing the Epstein files" and the later claiming that "this is a phase 1 release." "In short order, I will have the HARD COPY in my hands, and AG Bondi will be responsible for the public release," she added.
I nor the task force were given or reviewed the Epstein documents being released today… A NY Post story just revealed that the documents will simply be Epstein's phonebook.

In contrast, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, leading a task force on the matter, criticized the fact that she didn't receive any information on the matter and that a "NY Post story just revealed that the documents will simply be Epstein's phonebook." "THIS IS NOT WHAT WE OR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ASKED FOR and a complete disappointment. GET US THE INFORMATION WE ASKED FOR!" she added.
The story by the New York Post quoted a source who reviewed the files, saying the "release spans more than 100 pages, including a list of contacts without further context." "The person said the unveiling was likely to be a "disappointment" to sleuths eager for bombshell new evidence about the billionaire pedophile's connection to prominent political and business leaders," the article added.
A group of conservative influencers was seen leaving the White House with binders reading "The Epstein Files: Phase 1" but they did not provide any additional information.
