At the recent EA Sports Showcase held at Motivo in New York City, the Latin Times had the opportunity to sit down with Madden Creative Director Michael Young to discuss some of the newest features added to the upcoming Madden 25 video game, set to release later this summer.
Madden 25 will offer each player the ability to enter offline fantasy football, 32 team control for a second-straight year and the ability to import college draft classes from NCAA Football 14.
Incorporating large amounts of feedback from fans of the video game franchise, Michael Young told the Latin Times that the ultimate goal of the Madden series is to bring to life many ideas of the loyal fan base.
"The ability to build your own team in this year's game will truly allow the user to experience the game in a real-life setting," Young told the Latin Times.
"We want to make an evolutionary feature every year and with people asking for the addition of the NCAA draft classes, Madden 25 will offer a complete football experience. It's important to empower the community to become creators and that's what we've done this year."

Another new feature for this year's Madden game will be the implementation of the Infinity Engine 2. Building off last year's Infinity Engine, Madden development team members made it a priority to build of a successful system in order to make Madden 25 as fluent and realistic as possible.
This year's game development put heavy focus on the running game and with added features that allow each user to simulate the workload of a real-life NFL running back, Young is particularly excited about two of the latest additions.
"Force impact for running backs is something that is really exciting," Young said. "No longer will a back take the handoff, run directly into his offensive lineman and fall down.
"Infinity Engine 2 really benefits the running back position because you'll have the ability to stay on your feet and gain positive yardage", he continued. "The Force Impact development will also make truck sticks look more realistic while allowing the back to advance forward using his strength, not getting tripped up every time he crosses the line of scrimmage. Stumble Recovery will also make it more feasable for quarterbacks to extend plays and avoid sacks, not just submitting to sacks and turnovers."
When asked how he anticipates the upcoming sale of the latest Madden game to pan out, Young gave every ounce of the credit to the constant work of the EA Sports sales department.
"We have a wonderful sales team at EA and everyone involved with the distribution of this game will certainly help Madden 25 find success once it's released."
Madden 25 is set to launch for public purchase on August 27th, 2013.
