Each year, Macy's hosts a fourth of July fireworks spectacular in New York City. If you're hoping to watch the 35th annual Macy's Fourth Of July Fireworks 2014 Online and in person, then we've got all the information you will need.
This year, the Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular will begin anywhere from 9:20 and 9:50 p.m. on Friday. Be warned that the timing may vary depending on the weather. What's more, the NYPD has warned that dogs are not allowed and those watching the fireworks live may not bring large backpacks, lawn chairs or blankets, umbrellas, large coolers or alcohol.
According to NYPix11, there will be several areas to view the fireworks from, including:
Montgomery & South Streets – from the North (viewing along the FDR between Manhattan Bridge and Montgomery Street)
Brooklyn Bridge entry from St. James Pl. (Pearl St) & Wagner Pl. (viewing both north & South of the Brooklyn Bridge)
Broad Street and/or Old Slip at Water Street (viewing between Heliport & south side of Brooklyn Bridge)
Murray Bertraum HS track and Field facility – at the base of the Manhattan Bridge entrance at Market & Cherry Streets
If you're hoping to catch the Macy's 4th of July Fireworks on TV, then tune in to NBC at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT. A live show will be hosted by Nick Cannon with all-star performances by Ariana Grande, Hunter Hayes, Miranda Lambert and Lionel Richie. If you miss the show when it airs live on NBC, then know that an encore run will air at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT with the second hour of the special.
