‘Lunas Del Auditorio’ 2014 Awards: When And Where To Watch Show With Alejandra Guzmán, Juanes; Plus Nominations!

"Lunas Del Auditorio" is an annual award show that honors the best of entertainment in México. The accolade was started by the Auditorio Nacional, one of the most important venues in our neighboring country, where top acts perform when visiting México City. These awards are given out to acts no matter what venue the present their show at. The physical award is a replica of the sculpture that was designed by Juan Soriano and welcomes the public to the world class theatre. Confirmed to be at the gala are Alejandra Guzmán, Banda MS, Caifanes, Jesús Navarro, Juanes, Lombard Twins, Lupe Esparza, Rosana, Moderatto and the cast of the Mexican production of "Wicked."

A red carpet event is scheduled at 8pm ET and will live stream on YouTube. The main gala will follow at 10pm ET with all of the winners being revealed at that time. One of the main categories is the one that honors rock music in Spanish-language where Alejandra Guzmán, Café Tacvba, Caifanes, Enrique Bunbury and Zoé will be competing for the accolade. Pop is still going strong and the following Spanish-language singers are nominated: Enrique Iglesias, Gloria Trevi, Jesse & Joy, Maná and Reik. Musicals in México are popular and the shows that are nominated for a "luna" are: "Cats," "Hoy No Me Puedo Levantar," "El Violinista En El Tejado," "Mentiras, El Musical," "Vaselina" and "Wicked."
