Caitlyn Jenner shocked the world when she revealed herself on the cover of Vanity Fair. Naturally comparisons to other celebrities was imminent as many saw similarities between Jenner and the likes of Jessica Lange, Lana Del Rey and Idina Menzel. Over in Latin America, Caitlyn was compared to our "Colorina" Lucía Méndez. Yes, the 60-year-old Mexican actress that Photoshopped herself in place of Sandra Bullock during the red carpet at the "Gravity" premiere during the 70th Venice International Film Festival. Memes comparing Mendez and Jenner ran on social media and "Suelta La Sopa" caught up with the actress to ask if it bugged her being compared to her.
"No, it doesn't bother me," Lucía said about the comparisons to Caitlyn. "She looks like me really, she kind of has the same style. I congratulate her because she dared to make this change. I couldn't make such a change, I love being a woman and I like men." Later on in the interview the reporter asked her if it bothered her that Ninel Conde wanted to emulate her appearance. She backtracked and said that Caitlyn was not identical to her and it didn't bother her that Conde wanted to look like her either. "In a sense it is flattering that Ninel Conde looks like, or wants to look like me. She is a hard working woman and I respect her as well." Watch video down below and tell us what you think!
