More characters are coming on “Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” and a poster may have teased who is coming.
This was revealed through a poster of the characters that were previously teased in the series set of “hands” posters.
Among them include Sadoc Burrows (Sir Lenny Henry). He is described as an elderly Harfoot, the predecessor of the Hobbits.
Henry shared some information, describing the Harfoots as a nomadic tribe who move with the weather and the fertility of the crops.
“We have big caravans on wooden wheels and we’re very good at hiding things, because humans are much bigger than us and bring trouble," he said via Empire Online.
Aside from him, others who will join him include Megan Richards, Dylan Smith and Sara Zwangobani as Poppy Proudfellow, Largo Brandyfoot and Marigold Brandyfoot, respectively.
So far, little is known about the Harfoots. The only thing known is that Poppy is friendly with Markella Kavenagh's Elanor "Nori" Brandyfoot.
"We're the traditional Tolkien little guy,” Henry stated. "Traditionally, the little people in this world provide comedy but also get to be incredibly brave. You're going to see us run the full gamut of emotions and actions in this adventure."
The Harfoots are the latest to be added not long after the first photo of Charles Edwards' Celebrimbor, who debuted in The Silmarillion and played a vital role in the 2014 video game Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor was released by Prime Video.
For those who may not be aware, “The Rings of Power” is based on the lengthy appendices of J. R. R. Tolkien's novels, condensing thousands of years of history and lore into a planned five-season TV series.
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will premiere on Prime Video on Sept. 2.
