Not pleased with your current accommodations during your stay in London for the Summer Olympic games? Unfortunately, prices for a hotel room have skyrocketed across the city and given how heavily booked London has become during the incredible tourism spike including athletes and officials, alternative hotel accommodations won't be available unless you get a little creative.

What's more, the commute to Olympic village has become a dreadful choice between squeezing into the packed Olympic buses or hailing London cabs. Considering the newly enacted Olympic-only bus lanes that are an inconvenience for everyone else on the road, traffic has become so heavily congested that a typical cab ride will take twice as long.

Providing a unique answer to the gripes, London taxi driver David Weekes turned his cab into a hotel room to provide patrons with a place to stay for only 75 pounds a night. Guests stay in the furnished cabin of the taxi cab overnight and enjoy a full mattress with bedding, an alarm clock, as well as a Paddington Bear for creature comforts.

Relatively affordable, Weekes' taxi will be parked overnight on the driveway beside his family house. Worried about the facilities when nature calls? Simply knock on the door when you need to use the bathroom!

Sure to make the Olympic experience that much more memorable, you'll get to be driven to and from the Olympic games to the hotel room while kicking back in your hotel room.
