"Lo Que La Vida Me Robó" shocked viewers this week when writers flash-forward the story line seven years and in a sense reset the telenovela and started out fresh. The series starring Angelique Boyer as Montserrat and Sebastián Rulli as Alejandro has the audience guessing what will happen next and we have the details here for you. Spoiler Alert! Spoiler Alert! After the dramatic twist of the season, Montserrat is up for sale again. Episode 119 has José Luis (Luis Roberto Guzmán) scheming with money-hungry Graciela (Daniela Castro) to win back Montserrat. Why José Luis is taking this route? It doesn't make sense, buy keep in mind writers needed to beef up the story and have it end in August after it was originally planned to end around this time. Carlota (Gaby Rivero) was succesful in buying out Graciela's home, but with the condition that she can live there for as long as she wants. Meanwhile we find out that Fabiola (Lisset) kicked Montserrat out of her home after a judge ruling.
Episode 117 had our characters fast forward seven years into the future and completely reset the storyline. To give some context into what happened we go back to Episode 115. Montserrat is seen battling between life and death after Maria shot her, as she is on the operating table it seems that she has died and is at the gates of heaven where she meets up with her father. Montse never had the opportunity to say goodbye to him as he died of a heart attack at Alejandro's house and this time was used for both to catch up. Alejandro is fleeing from the corrupt Pedro Medina that wants to imprison him. Alejandro plans to keep his family and friends safe and arranges for a private jet to take them out of the country. Victor and Nadia are pressuring Alejandro to leave without his family as their life is in danger. Alejandro concedes and decides to leave with his friends, not knowing what happened to Montserrat. The airplane starts having some difficulties and ends up nosediving and crashing into the ocean, taking a note from the Malaysian airlines disaster.
While Montserrat is talking to her father, Alejandro soon appears, making the audience believe that he is now dead as well. Soon after Montserrat wakes up and is brought back to life, but anguished as she is worried about her husband. They soon reveal that he has died and no sign of life was shown. With 7 years passing, it has given the writers an opportunity to start their storyline once again. Little Lauro, Montserrat and Alejandro's son, is a little boy now that goes to school and loves his mother. He wears cute little black-framed glasses and has blonde hair. Montserrat still misses Alejandro and is constantly crying for him. She opens up a bakery where she employs Dominga and Macario where they make cakes and "espressos." José Luis has been in prison and there are hints that he has changed A LOT. Esmeralda is pregnant and carrying Refugio's son. She has gained a lot of weight and feels self-conscious about it as she feels she's lost all her beauty. There are hints that Refugio might have a little affair with the new woman tenant. Carlota married Ezequiel and she moved out of Graciela's home, who is now living in filth. Carlota offers her to buy her home.
