"Lo Que La Vida Me Robó" is Univision's newest telenovela starring Angelique Boyer and Sebastián Rulli premeiring on Monday. Both of these actors have proven to have chemistry on-screen as you might remember their torrid romance on "Teresa" where he ended up forgiving the titled character for all the wrong she had done. Boyer followed the succesful soap in an even bigger hit with "Abismo de Pasión" while Rulli enjoyed another massive hit with "Amores Verdaderos." Now the actors are back together in this remake of "Bodas De Odio" originally written by Caridad Bravo Adams. The most recent version was 2003's "Amor Real," which turned out to be a smash hit on the Spanish-language network starring Fernando Colunga and Adela Noriega. You might notice that the cast picture above lacks the big elaborate costumes and that is because this retelling of the story is set in contemporary times.
