It takes time to create a highly-acclaimed musical, and ever since Lin-Manuel Miranda announced on his Twitter account that he was planning on writing a musical about Alexander Hamilton, we followed him closely to see what he was going to do. Let’s face it, we were all curious to see what he would follow “In The Heights” with and after a few years of getting a glimpse shared by Miranda through social media, we got even more than we expected.
After selling-out in its Off-Broadway run at NYC’s Public Theater with many celebrities rushing to see it, “Hamilton” is now on Broadway and just last Saturday, July 18, after Obama attended the performance, it finished its first week of previews at the Richard Rodgers Theatre, the same place where “In The Heights” also had its Broadway run. To celebrate, Hennessy V.S.O.P Privilege hosted a private reception in honor of “Hamilton” show creator and star Lin-Manuel Miranda at URBO in New York City, where they served the following cocktail that will have you feeling like a Broadway star!
The Hennessy Hamilton (Inspired by “Hamilton” On Broadway and Lin-Manuel Miranda, and created by Joseph D. Solis)
