There were five Liga MX games on Saturday. América vs UNAM, Pachuca vs Morelia, U.A.N.L vs Veracruz, León vs Santos and Atlas vs Monterrey. Here is a recap of those games just in case you couldn’t watch.
UNAM beat América 3-1. It can be said the Pumas took advantage of the mistakes made by América. The hero was the Argentinian Daniel Ludueña. Francisco Rodríguez on the other hand was the bad guy. The Pumas were shut down by the opposing team.
Los Tuzas defeated Monarcas 3-0. Enner Valencia proved himself. He has more than 50 percent of his team’s goals. He was the reason why they one this game. The Ecuador native had failed to score in two different occasions but made up for it later. With this victory, Pachuca is now in the fourth position in the standing.
Tigres beat Veracruz 1-0, this being their first win of the tournament. Jesús Dueñas was the best for the Tigres, making key plays on the defensive end, he also scored the only goal that lead this team to victory. The Tigres did not play their best game, but came out on top and won.
In another game that took place last night, León beat Santon 4-2. The night belonged to León. Miguel Sabah had something to do with the four goals scored by the victorius team, he had 3 assists and scored 1 goal.
Atlas lost 1-0 to Monterrey. They had many opportunities to score but couldn’t capitalize. Lucas Silva scored the only goal scored in the game. The losing team had at least 6 opportunities to score but came up short.
