Leticia Calderón is most famously recognized for her role as "Esmeralda" opposite Fernando Colunga. That classic tale of a young blind woman that falls in love with a rich man and overcomes many obstacles to live a happy ending. The 45-year-old actress was last seen as the wicked Isadora in "Amor Bravío" for which she won at Premios TVyNovelas in the Best Co-Starring Actress category. Calderón expressed that she has no intentions of returning to the small screen for the time being as she is concentrated in spending time with her children Carlo and Luciano.

"At the moment I want to be with my children and dedicate myself to them, at least this year and maybe the next one we'll do something," she told Televisa Espectaculos. "There are some producers that have not coincided with the hours I ask for and right now I don't want to work all day. I am not the actress that can work all day now, I am in a moment where I want to enjoy my children, when my kids decide they don't want to be with me anymore, then I will look for a job." For all the fans that want to see the actress in a telenovela soon will have to wait until at least 2015 when she will star looking for her next project.

Lety Calderón has been in other telenovelas like "La Fuerza Del Destino," "En Nombre Del Amor" and "Amor Real." She was also the lead of soaps like "Laberintos De Pasión," "Valeria y Maximiliano," "Yo Compro Esa Mujer" and "La Indomable."
