The first look at "Legend of Korra" season 2 is finally here, though fans will be disappointed to know that a release date still has not been announced.
The clip shows Korra engaged in some intense combat with unknown, ominous spirits. The exclusive look is part of a behind-the-scenes feature put out by Nickelodeon's animation studios. It starts off with producers Mike DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko giving a quick run down of what fans can expect from "Korra" next season, Hypable reported.

"Korra has a whole new realm of things that she has to battle and master," Konietzko said, confirming the rumor the Korra will enter the spirit world in the next season. Viewers can also expect an engaging backstory from the spirits, which can transform and be either light or dark, DiMartino added.
The commentary of the co-creators was split between exclusive info and scenes of Korra fighting extravagant creatures, one of which being a spiny creature, complete with glowing eyes ensnaring her in her coils. In another scene, Korra and her team race off away from a four-legged creature with a gaping mouth before it attacks. Korra is also featured bending as she tries to fight off a fire-spitting creature and it looks like she is unsuccessful, with the terrifying beast giving her a difficult time.
Unfortunately, this is all viewers get before the clip comes to a close, but it's expected to be the first of many exclusive looks into the new season. Will you be watching?
