In episode four of "Law and Order: SVU" officer Brain Cassidy will go undercover in order to catch a group of dirty cops working out of the 12th precinct. The episode titled "Internal Affairs" will air tonight at 9pm ET on NBC. Officer Cassidy will be working with the SVU squad once again tonight. SUV is asked by the Internal Affairs Bureau to help with the investigation into the 12th precinct. The officers working in that squad have been accused of "cooking the books" and making rape accusations and charges disappear.

Cassidy will go undercover in order to catch the officers in the act. Things do not seem to be going too well for the one time SUV detective. In the promo we see one of the officers push Cassidy against a wall and place a gun to his chest. IAB is first made aware of what's going on at the 12th precinct when an officer from that unit, Michael Groves is placed in the psych ward when he turns on his fellow crooked officers.

What the SVU squad does not realize is how far one of the officers is willing to go in order to keep the 12th precinct's secret. Detective Benson and Captain Cragen may come to that realization when it is too late to help Cassidy. So far "Law and Order: SVU" has been an emotional season. Episode one premiered with Olivia Benson being kidnapped and tortured, something she will be struggling with all season. Last week's episode was pulled from the pages of the Trayvon Martin and Paula Deen cases.

The cast of "Law and Order: SVU" includes Mariska Hargitay (Detective Benson), Ice-T (Fin Tutuola), Richard Belzer (John Munch), Kelli Giddish (Amanda Rollins), Danny Pino (Nick Amaro), Dan Floreck (Captain Creagen) and Dean Winters (Brain Cassidy). If you will not be home tonight to watch the fourth episode of "SVU" head over to NBC.com tomorrow and catch up on tonight's show and any other you may have missed.
