Although Hollywood seems to have more of an open mind when it comes to LGBT community, some celebrities still have to deal with ridicule for the sexual preferences. Fifth Harmony's Lauren Jauregui, is the latest celeb caught up in a sexuality scandal.
According to JustJaredJr., after kissing a girl in a leaked photo at a family wedding over the weekend, Fifth Harmony's Lauren Jauregui has been outed by people for being bisexual or lesbian. Luckily for her, die hard Fifth Harmony fans quickly defended their queen via Twitter.
While attending the family wedding over the weekend, Jauregi appeared to be letting loose a bit and was caught kissing a girl in a photo booth from a leaked photo. The girl in question, Lucy Vives, hapens to be the daughter of Carlos Vives, a famous Colombian singer.
Once the photo went viral, many people were quick to label the star as a bisexual or lesbian and Fifth Harmony fans clapped back immediately. Launching the trend #LongLoveLauren, fans showcased their love for the singer and blasted people for invading her privacy.
"@LaurenJauregui I love you baby! I'm sorry that your privacy got invaded. We love you no matter what and I hope you are happy sunshine," one fan tweeted.
"Please respect @LaurenJauregui and her privacy, who she dates doesnt concern you :(( keep ur homophobic arses away from her :(((," another fan tweeted.
While there are many stars in Hollywood who do label themselves as part of the LGBT community and some who have not came out, it makes you wonder how accepted a person really is if their sexual preference determines their celebrity being ridiculed.
The photos do suggest that the singer and Vives are very close. The pair have been spotted hanging out numerous times together and it doesn't seem like the two are romantically involved.
There are many women who give their female friends kisses on the lips as a friendly gesture, or to be more serious but at the end of the day if it doesn't involve you, you shouldn't be concerned.
