The race to the White House between President Obama and Republican Mitt Romney is tied.

In key battleground states, Obama is leading his opponent by very slim margins.

In Colorado, according to RCP's average, Obama is up up 0.6 points.

After taking time off from the campaign trail to deal with Hurricane Sandy, the president is in full campaign mode. This evening, the president will campaign in Boulder, Colorado - the last time he will visit the state before Nov. 6.

On Saturday, Vice President Joe Biden will campaign in Pueblo, Colorado.

Also on Saturday, Romney will attempt to change the race for Colorado's nine electoral votes when he and wife Ann and the GOP team host a "Victory Rally" in Englewood.

According to a Denver Post report, nearly 1.1 million voters in Colorado have cast their ballots. According to the Post, about 439K Republicans have cast mail-in ballots and 405K Democrats have cast their votes.

Four years ago today, the president was leading his challenger by nine points.

In Florida, Romney leads Obama by 1.2 percent.

A Gravis Marketing Poll shows Romney up by three percent; a New York Times/CBS/Quinnipiac poll shows that Obama is up by one percent and a Ipsos/Reuters poll reveal a tie between the two candidates.

Obama surrogate President Bill Clinton will visit five cities in Florida. Today, First Lady Michelle Obama will stump in Florida in hopes of winning the state's 29 electoral votes.

Romney campaigned in Florida on Wednesday and is expected to return there before election day.

According to New York Time's Nate Silver, in Iowa, Nevada, Ohio and Wisconsin, Obama leads Romney by 3.9 percent.

"None of this ought to have been surprising, exactly, if you have been attentive to the polls rather than the pundits" Silver wrote. "It was a pretty good day of surveys for Mr. Obama but not a great one: for the most part, the polls were coming in close to FiveThirtyEight forecasts in each state, give or take a modest outlier here and there."
