It has been revealed that the post-apocalyptic zombie thriller “The Last of Us” will be ported to the PlayStation 4 with enhanced graphics. PlayStation's Eurasian Software Market Manager Sercan Sulun confirmed the news and said the title would arrive on the console this summer in an interview on Turkish CNN.
"There is no information about a new The Last of Us game but I can share this knowledge; as of this summer, The Last of Us will be on the PS4. Both on PSN and physically," Sulun said. "The PS4 version will also include the DLC so you will be able to play Left Behind as well.”
In the interview Sulun dropped a devastating bomb revealing that a true sequel to the hit-game “The Last of Us” will probably not happen for a while, if not at all.
If the information Sulun gave in the interview is correct then we should see the PS4 re-release pretty soon. We’re still not sure what “enhanced graphics” actually means, seeing how the PS3 version of “The Last of Us” looks absolutely amazing.
Sony has yet to make an official announcement about the title making its debut on the next-gen console and has gone as far as to refute the news. Polygon contacted Sony to get a quote and a spokesperson responded saying:
"At no time have we announced that The Last of Us is coming to PS4 and therefore, have nothing to say on the subject.”
