During the live performance of "The Last of Us" in Los Angeles, Calif. the games director Neil Druckmann gave viewers a real special treat! He introduced an unrecorded scene that takes place after the games original ending. The scene was performed live on stage by actors Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson.
Attendee's at the event posted to NeoGAF about the experience and noted that Druckmann requested nobody film the scene, and stressed that it will never be released or revealed in any other form. So without further ado here is what happens.**Please note if you have not completed the game stop reading or else you're going to ruin it for yourself. AGAIN SPOILERS AHEAD, STOP READING IF YOU HAVE NOT FINISHED "THE LAST OF US."
Druckmann said this scene is a goodbye to Joel and Ellie. It takes place at Tommy's dam one night after the closing events of the game however, others have reported it's four years later, but whatever the case we know its after the fact. Joel then tells Ellie in her room at Tommy's that Tommy is trying to set him up to marry a girl named Esther. It is said Ellie is distant and reserved when getting the news until Joel gets his guitar and sings a song, which Troy Baker performed live for the audience. Joel tells Ellie a joke and the pair laugh. Joel leaves the guitar with Ellie as a gift and the it ends with Ellie alone on her bed, strumming a chord.
