A Los Angeles Police Department officer was arrested for allegedly molesting two girls. at his Castaic home over the weekend for allegedly molesting two girls.
Miguel Schiappapietra, 28, who has worked for the LAPD for six years, was taken into custody from his Castaic home on Saturday and booked at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station. The LAPD officer arrested was arrested for allegedly committing lewd acts on two children under the age of ten and is being held on $100,000 bail.
The LAPD officer arrested reportedly lured minors into his home, according to sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore, and sexually assaulted them. The girls lived in the same neighborhood as the officer.

“You know, having children of my own and knowing there are other children in this neighborhood…I had no idea it was going on down there. It’s very disturbing,” said resident Tim Rossi to CBS about the LAPD officers arrested.
Neighbors told KCAL9’s Brittney Hopper that the LAPD officer arrested recently moved to the area with his wife and three children. They revealed that he seemed like a family man.
“Scary, that’s scary. This is such a quiet, mellow neighborhood,” said Michelle Spreuer.

The LAPD officer arrested recently transferred to the Foothill Division. He will be assigned to his home if he makes bail, and will face a sheriff's department criminal investigation and an LAPD administrative investigation, according to Det. Gus Villanueva.
