Lady Gaga just confirmed that she and Dan Horton are no longer dating. On her Instagram account, the “Poker Face” singer declared that she’s single.

Gaga was at her friend’s wedding when she posted a photo on her Instagram Story. The singer included a cryptic caption about her friend being a soon-to-be-married woman and herself, who is a single lady.

The “Shallow” singer’s revelation came as a shock to fans since she and Horton just started dating a few months ago. In July, the former couple even packed on the PDA during their outing. The two were photographed kissing each other on the lips.

At that time, a source told US Weekly that the singer was laughing and smiling a lot while she was hanging out with her new boyfriend. “They were talking with their faces close and holding hands a little at the table,” the source said.

Last month, Gaga also told her millions of social media followers that she and Horton went out on a dinner date. And in August, they attended The Cure and The Pixies concert in Pasadena.

Around the same time, rumors swirled that Gaga and Horton’s relationship won’t last because the singer is just using the sound engineer to make Bradley Cooper jealous. An unnamed source told a tabloid that Gaga went to the concert with Horton to make a statement but that at the end of the day, Cooper is still the one who holds her heart.

Since Cooper has not been able to commit to his “A Star Is Born” costar after his split from Irina Shayk, Gaga decided to date Horton to get Cooper’s attention and to make him jealous. “Gaga knows how to play the game,” the source said. “She’s dating Dan in a bid to make Bradley realize what he’s missing,” the source added.

But two months ago, rumor-debunking site Gossip Cop said that Gaga didn’t just date Horton to make Cooper jealous. After all, Gaga and Horton’s relationship had nothing to do with the “Silver Linings Playbook” star. The publication also noted the fact that the tabloid has been publishing fake stories about Gaga throughout the past couple of months.
