Ever since Lady Gaga made her relationship with tech CEO, Michael Polansky, rumors have floating around concerning their impending marriage and as well as news of their breakup. And the recent addition to the rumor mill is that Lady Gaga is taking things to the next level in her relationship as she is pregnant and engaged to Polansky.
Highlighting the “news” in its couples section, the tabloid In Touch reported that Lady Gaga is allegedly expecting a child as well as secretly engaged to her boyfriend. The tabloid presented a photo of Lady Gaga snapped by paparazzi a couple of weeks ago, pointing out a supposed baby bump as proof to back up their claims.
“Gaga is absolutely glowing,” an unnamed “source,” told the tabloid. “All of her friends think it’s true because she won’t give a straight answer about it.”
In Touch substantiated its claims with more lofty speculations, namely how Gaga has had a “series of rocky relationships” in the past, including a “romance with Bradley Cooper that fizzled when he couldn’t commit.” And that’s what makes Polansky her “perfect match.” “Her friends think the pair might also be secretly engaged,” shared the “source.” “Gaga is living her best life right now. That’s why she’s moving forward with her dreams – she wants a loving husband and a family.”
While it is very much possible that Gaga is planning to take big steps in her relationship with Polansky in the future, to make such wild claims with only a single photo of Gaga’s body as proof of her sporting a baby bump renders the story baseless.
In its report on the story, Gossip Cop questioned the validity of this shady “source” who didn’t even confirm Gaga’s pregnancy but just said that “all her friends think it’s true.”
Then there is the Bradley Cooper-Lady Gaga angle which the tabloid resorted to. While it is true that at the time of shooting “A Star Is Born,” both actors appeared close and very much in love, Gaga had clarified in later interviews that it was all a farse as “people saw love and, guess what, that’s we wanted you to see.” Thus the usage of the schtick just nullifies the whatever validity the story could have held, to begin with.
