Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper have been linked to each other for months already. And recently, a renowned matchmaker said that the “A Star Is Born” co-stars would’ve been a power couple if only they dated each other.
While speaking with Fox News, Patti Stanger said that she’s one of those people who have been shipping Gaga and Cooper. “I would’ve liked to see him and Gaga together,” she said.
“They would have been a cool couple. I know her and I think it would have been really cool actually. It would've been interesting,” she added.
Stanger also said that Gaga could’ve challenged Cooper artistically, which means that they could’ve been a good fit for each other. The co-stars astrologically are also in sync. As an Aries and a Capricorn, respectively, Gaga and Cooper are both powerful.
The matchmaker also shared her thoughts regarding Gaga’s and Cooper’s previous relationships. She said that both Gaga and Cooper came from bad relationships. She also said that the co-stars should have been single when they started filming for “A Star Is Born.”
And when it comes to her advice for Cooper, the matchmaker said that the actor should stop dating models. The “Silver Linings Playbook” star previously dated Russian model Irina Shayk.
“I just think he’s really bright; not that models are dumb or anything like that,” Stanger explained. “I just think he needs someone who intellectually stimulates him, like an Amal [Clooney]. I don't think you need to go 20s; they don't know who they are yet. They'll change by the time they’re 30.”
Meanwhile, Gaga previously explained why she and Cooper didn’t date even though there was an obvious chemistry between them. During her appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” the “Poker Face” singer said that she and her co-star simply portrayed their roles.
Their goal as actors was to convince audiences that they were in love even when they aren’t. “Yes, people saw love, and guess what? That’s what we wanted you to see,” Gaga said.
“This ‘Shallow’ is a love song. The movie, ‘A Star Is Born,’ is a love story. We worked so hard, we worked all week on that performance,” she added.
