A completely unexpected romance is reportedly brewing between Lady Gaga and “Avengers: Infinity War” star Jeremy Renner. A source revealed last week that the duo has been hanging out together with Renner’s five-year-old daughter, Ava, whom the actor shares with his ex-wife, Sonni Pacheco. However, a more recent report has revealed that their relationship is simply platonic.

Earlier this year, Gaga called off her engagement to Christian Carino. Since their breakup, the singer has managed to thrive in her newfound single status, going places and spending more time with friends. After winning an Oscar this year, Gaga went to Mexico for a quick getaway with friends. While Gaga and Renner have been mum about the issue, E! conceded recently that the two are only friends. A source told E! that while it is true that they’ve been hanging out, they are not romantically involved in any way. “She has been friends with Jeremy Renner for a while,” the source said. “They often hang out when they are both in town. She’s been spending time with him recently but it’s not romantic,” the source added.

It remains unknown why the two have been out in Los Angeles lately, but it’s possible that Gaga is collaborating with Renner on her upcoming sixth album.
