Kylie Jenner recently launched her new line of beauty products called Kylie Skin. She claimed that they were selling out fast and posted screenshots of good feedback from users. She also said that her new products were sold out just within an hour after its launch.
With lots of amazing feedback, Jenner reposted a series of reviews and thanked the users for their comments. She also announced that she will update them once they’re done with the restocking of Kylie Skin products. However, there were commenters who slammed the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star and accused her of posting fake reviews for her skincare line.
“The products have just come out!!” one commenter wrote. “How can you review the products yet, you won’t see results till 2-3 weeks. Shame!! Seems like someone was just trying to make a buck which is sad. Does she know anything about skincare.”
Apparently, a number of people doubted the authenticity of the reviews as the skincare line had been introduced only two weeks before. Others also accused her of lying and claiming that her items are “vegan,” “cruelty-free” and suitable for all types of skin.
Negative commenters even said that Jenner and Kylie Skin created fake social media accounts so they can post more “reviews” and be able to respond to their own posts, which will show the “users” agreeing with the positive feedback.
“So you faking the reviews for sells?” one commenter wrote. Jenner, however, was quick to shot down the comment and deny the allegations. “Ur a hater. why would I need to fake reviews,” she said. “These are real people. Go look em up.”
The youngest billionaire is fortunate that these dismissive comments appeared to have no effect on her business promotion at all. Business orders are still coming in, and many more expressed their wish to have the Kylie Skin package.
Some buyers also want the lip kit mogul to consider free shipping, but she’s yet to respond to this. Kylie Jenner is not just the youngest billionaire today. She’s also starting to become the youngest cosmetic magnate as her products continue to sell worldwide.
