Sofia Richie made her debut on “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” Season 17 last weekend. Since she’s the current girlfriend of Scott Disick, there are speculations that she may appear on the hit E! reality TV show more regularly.
A tabloid recently claimed that Sofia didn’t really want to appear on KUWTK, but she decided to overcome her shyness after Scott, Kourtney Kardashian and the other cast members encouraged her to do so. In the end, the supermodel is glad that she got on board.
“The show is a huge part of Scott’s life and if they’re going to be together it just makes sense for her to take part — so that’s really the main factor in her deciding to do this,” an unnamed source said. “And, it’s great for her brand. She’s ambitious, so why not take things to the next level?” the source added.
The insider went on to say that Sofia is still getting the hang of things, which means that she isn’t an official cast member of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” yet. But this doesn’t mean that she will never become one.
“The family really sees potential in her and her relationship with Scott, so who knows where this could go?” the source said. “Sofia is always stop and go when it comes to wanting to be on reality television — whether it would be her own or on ‘Keeping Up.’ She always seems to have a different idea of what to do,” the source added.
Lionel Richie’s daughter reportedly wants to maintain her own brand, regardless of whether or not she would appear on “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” regularly. But for now, she’s open to becoming a recurring guest on the hit reality TV show.
In the previous episode of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” Sofia joined Scott and Kourtney on their family vacation to Finland with their three kids. Sofia and Kourtney got along well with each other, but Scott struggled to feel at ease.
During one of the scenes, Scott told Kourtney that things are very awkward for him. But this is understandable since he was hanging out with his girlfriend and his ex-girlfriend at the same time.
