A new teaser for “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” Season 17 has just been released. In the clip, Khloe Kardashian shares her thoughts regarding Lamar Odom’s new book.
During her conversation with Kim Kardashian-West, Khloe says that she has no issue with Lamar releasing his own book. “It’s his truth,” she said. “He’s allowed to tell his version.”
Khloe went on to say that she and Lamar played an important role in each other’s lives, so it’s only normal for them to talk about their previous marriage. “We tell what happens to us. And this is his story to tell,” Khloe said. “A lot of this was never my place to talk about, but it's definitely his place because it happened to him.”
True Thompson’s mom added that she’s happy for her ex-husband, and she also praised Lamar for being courageous to talk about his previous struggles. One of the reasons why the couple’s marriage fell apart was because of Lamar’s alcohol and drug addiction.
In “Light To Darkness,” Lamar admitted to being a sex addict. He also said that his vices were partly to be blamed for the end of his marriage to the reality TV star.
The former basketball player said that he slept with 2,000 women throughout his life, and he has also gone as far as paying women for sex. “There were too many strippers to count,” he said. “It wasn’t a big deal, but often I would pay them. I never thought less of them,” he added.
Lamar also shared details about his and Khloe’s union and said that their marriage was blissful in the beginning. But things quickly changed after he struggled to cope with the spotlight, as well as his infidelity, addiction and career.
Also, in his book, Lamar said that he misses Khloe and the entire Kardashian-Jenner clan. The athlete said that he hopes to get reacquainted with them one day.
But Lamar has already moved on from Khloe. He is now dating personal trainer and life coach Sabrina Parr. There were rumors suggesting that the couple’s relationship is fake, but they recently denied the allegations.
