Kobe Bryant Divorce: The Couple Seem To Be Good...For Now

Last year was definitely not the best year for Kobe Bryant.

While on court he hustled and wrestled together with his Lakers, off court he may have experienced some friction with his wife, Vanessa, with all the rumors of a divorce putting an end to their marriage.

Lately, however, it seems as if the troubles were back at the Bryant's. In a charity event on December 21^st, Vanessa posed for pictures without wearing her wedding ring.

Yes, that's two million dollar ring Kobe gave her after the star player was accused of sexual assault back in 2003. The Colorado judge dismissed the charges for sexual assault back then, but Bryant confessed in a press conference to having cheated on his wife. This mistake of his has been singled out by many sources as the main reason for the couple's on-going turbulence and perhaps the near-divorce last year.

Did he cheat on her again? Or does Vanessa think the Lakers won't be this year's champions? Let's remember she told the New York Magazine a while ago she'd rather be around "winners"?

Amidst all the rumors and troubles, Kobe Bryant surprisingly showed up on Sunset Strip during New Year's Eve with his apparently estranged wife Vanessa.

On their way out of BOA Steakhouse, the couple, dressed very fashionably, seemed to have worked things out and it looked like things were back together to start things straight in 2013.

According to Bryant he's been doing "lots of hard work" to stay atop. But wait a minute... Is he referring to his life on court, off the court, or both? Vanessa hasn't dismissed her year old divorce petition though, but some sources guarantee they're back for good... for now.
