Kim Kardashian Wants To Start Anew By Dropping Kanye West's Last Name Amid Divorce, New Romance With Pete Davidson

In a vicious move, billionaire beauty mogul Kim Kardashian filed documents to legally restore her maiden name and drop estranged husband Kanye West's last name, citing embarrassment from the rapper's public pleas to reunite with her while his model girlfriend, Vinetria, reportedly stays at his Malibu home.

The SKIMS founder, 41, lodged the paperwork in Los Angeles last Friday. If a judge grants her request, she will become “legally single” while she and Ye, 44, continue to iron out details of child custody and the terms of their ongoing divorce, which she also filed in February, E! Online reported.

The former couple shares children, North, 8; Saint, 6; Chicago, 3; Psalm, 2; and had been together for seven years. In her declaration, the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" alum noted they both deserve to build new lives, saying "no counseling or reconciliation effort will be of any value at this time."

According to TMZ, Kim further substantiates her request to bifurcate and terminate their marital status, citing "Irreconcilable differences have existed and continue to exist between [Kanye] and me, which have caused our marriage to irretrievably break down."

“Kim is making a statement by doubling down that she’s single,” an insider said. “She thinks it’s strange that Kanye keeps saying he wants her back, but all the while he’s got the [22-year-old] model at his Malibu house.”

The source added Kardashian wants to keep things pleasant between her and West for the sake of their kids. Formerly known as Kimye, the two were praised for remaining amicable and supportive of their respective careers amid their divorce.

During the Free Larry Hoover Benefit Concert last Thursday, the "Donda" hitmaker was just begging Kardashian to “run back” to him. He did not mince words to mention her name in the event at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Page Six noted.

“I need you to run right back to me, more specifically Kimberly,” the Yeezy founder ad-libbed during a performance of his hit song “Runaway.”

However, the KKW Beauty owner appears to be against this idea because apart from her new court filing, she is currently enjoying her love life, dating “Saturday Night Live” star Pete Davidson since November.

The same month, it was also revealed Ye and Vinetria were romantically involved after the two were spotted attending the Donda Academy’s debut basketball game in Minneapolis on Nov. 6.

In addition, the model, who happens to be the new face of Pat McGrath Labs, posted her snaps to Instagram last week with a background that seemed to be the balcony of Kanye's waterfront Malibu mansion.
