Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are reportedly suing one of YouTube's cofounder, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The pair are bringing the lawsuit against the video streaming website's co-founder, Chad Hurley, for posting footage of the couple's lavish proposal on his new website, MixBit. The 2.5 minute video shows Kanye proposing to Kardashian on October 21 in San Francisco. According to the pair, Hurley violated a confidentiality agreement.
According to the lawsuit, Kanye West was under a strict contract with a film producer to air the proposal on E!. Kim and Kanye are seeking damages from Hurley and his company, Avos Systems Inc. According to USA Today, the pair "also allege that the tech-savvy entrepreneur wasn't invited to the celebration at AT&T Park but somehow found a way in anyway."
For the lavish proposal, Kanye had Lorraine Schwartz ring and the Jumbotron displaying a sign saying "PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!" He also had a 50-piece orchestra playing Lana Del Rey's "Young and Beautiful," Kim's favorite song, followed by Keri Hilson, Ne-Yo and Kanye's "Knock You Down." E! reports that Kanye went over to Kris Jenner to ask for her blessing, and of course, she said yes.
