Update: 11a.m EDT: As more details emerging about Kim Kardashian's horrific ordeal in Paris, it's reported that the reality star has already fled the French capital on a private jet. It's thought that she is on her way to New York to meet up with husband Kanye West.
The DailyMail is reporting that around 3a.m. local time, five gunmen in police uniforms entered the building after the concierge let them in. Handcuffed and at gunpoint, he then led them to the starlet's apartment. Kardashian-West reportedly 'begged for her life" and told the gunmen she had children at home when two of the robbers entered the room she was in and held a gun to her head.
Kardashian-West has been staying in a discreet luxury residence used by celebrities and wealthy individuals behind the French capital's Madeleine church. She is reported to have stayed there at least once before, in 2014, before her marriage to West.
The men allegedly stole a jewellery box worth €6 million ($6.7 million) and a ring worth €4 million ($4.5 million), prompting fears that the valuables were personal ones, and not just jewellery Kim was borrowing for fashion week. It is speculated that one of the baubles she has had stolen is her Lorraine Schwartz engagement ring from Kanye West.
The rock is the second one her husband has given her after the original engagement band he proposed with back in 2013. The huge rock features a 20-carat emerald-cut centre stone and may well be the ring worth €4 million that police said has been taken.
Kardashian-West is said to have also lost two of her prized smart phones – ones that are likely to contain a great deal of personal information.
The incident comes just five days after the reality star praised her personal bodyguard Pascal Duvier as 'the best in town' after he saved her from being tackled by serial prankster Vitalii Sediuk. However, Pascal was pictured out with Kourtney Kardashian on Sunday night, suggesting he was not with Kim when the raid took place.
Original Story: Kim Kardashian could never have imagined that her fun trip to Paris for Fashion Week would take such a shocking turn. However, it is being reported that the reality star has been robbed at gunpoint in the City of Light.
According to E News, the Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s star had the scare of her life as she was held at gunpoint inside her Paris apartment. The 35-year-old was held hostage by masked men who were dressed as police officers. She is said to be physically unharmed but obviously emotionally shaken up.
Further reports are saying that Paris police have confirmed that “jewellery worth millions” was stolen. Kardashian West’s bodyguard was allegedly handcuffed during the incident in which five robbers with guns were involved.
Apparently, husband, Kanye West learned the news about Kim while on the Saint Pablo tour. West reportedly exited his set at the Meadows Festival in Queens, New York, telling concertgoers that he had a “family emergency.”
Fans took to Twitter to discuss Kanye’s abrupt departure from the tour date and Kim’s scary incident.
“Kanye’s assistant pulled him to the side of the stage then Ye got on the mic saying he had a family emergency and stopped the show,” one fan tweeted.
A couple of hours before the incident, Kim was spotted at the Givenchy fashion show where little sister Kendall Jenner was walking the runway.
The news comes as a shock after the reality star was assaulted by Ukranian prankster Vitalii Sediuk, who kissed her infamous assets earlier this week.
Kris Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian were also in town for Fashion Week. Kylie Jenner and Khloe Kardashian are back in the States.
