Khloe Kardashian, Lamar Odom Divorce Expected To Happen Soon, Suggest Rumors

Though Khloe Kardashian appears to do a nice job of keeping her composure through all of the recent problems stemming from husband Lamar Odom's addiction, multiple reports indicate that the reality television star and sister to actress/model Kim Kardashian is finally seeking a divorce after a lengthy period of troubles. While she has shown support for her husband in the past -- as any wife would in most cases -- the 29-year-old has apparently had her fill of the NBA star's problems and now it seems that a divorce will come sooner rather than later.

Recently spending her fourth wedding anniversary with her closest friends and not Odom, Khloe Kardashian is now ready for an official split from the former Los Angeles Laker and two-time NBA Champion. According to TMZ, Kardashian is leaning in the direction of a divorce but has not drawn up the official paperwork because she has a growing fear that an official divorce will send Lamar Odom completely over the edge and given his recent problems with cocaine, Kardashian's thought process certainly holds water.

"The addiction had taken over their marriage," a family friend said recently of Odom's drug addiction. The problem is cocaine. He would be high for three or four days at time. I feel so bad for [Khloe] because she really does love him. She says the things he does are because of drugs, and she just wants him to get help. It's a really hard time for Khloe because she really loves Lamar. They really do love each other. But she really feels that this problem is out of control."

In addition to reporting on the fact that Khloe has not drawn up papers for the divorce yet, TMZ also notes that once Kardashian does seek the expected split, the proceedings should go without a problem since the prenup agreement keeps the assets of both parties separate.

While it is certainly understandable as to why Kardashian is up for the idea of ending her four-year marriage, recent tweets from the television star indicate that she still has a strong love for Lamar. Despite that love however, it does appear that a divorce will happen once Kardashian begins the process.
