Drug Dealers Busted After Forgetting Big Bag of 'Special K' on Train, Asking Station Staff for Help Tracking It Down

A drug dealing duo in England were busted after leaving "a hefty amount of ketamine" in a bag on a train and then reported it missing to staff members who were already in contact with police.

After Jordan McCourt-Knight, 30, and Harley Hall, 28, reported the missing bag of drugs, which had a street value between $25,000 and $50,000, in November 2019, police searched for its owners and soon discovered they were part of a major drug trafficking ring, according to reporting by Shropshire Star.

Following a four-year investigation, police arrested McCourt-Knight last week and found drugs and drug paraphernalia, several cell phones and more than $2,000 in cash. They then discovered he and Hall were central figures of a major organized crime ring that imported drugs from Portugal.

Hall was then arrested and police found thousands of dollars in cash and more than a kilogram of marijuana.

"Our officers worked tirelessly to bring about these convictions. McCourt-Knight and Hall were in direct communication with international drug suppliers, sourcing numerous class A, B and C drugs which were then supplied throughout various parts of the UK," investigating officer DS Dan Murdoch told Shropshire Star.

McCourt-Knight pleaded guilty to two counts of conspiracy to supply cocaine and MDMA and five counts of conspiracy to supply ketamine and cannabis and was jailed for six years and three months.

Hall also pleaded guilty to two counts of conspiracy to supply cocaine and MDMA, three counts of conspiracy to supply ketamine and cannabis and one count of possession with intent to supply cannabis. He was jailed for five years and 10 months.
