According to numerous reports former playmate and reality television star Kendra Wilkinson was rushed to the hospital Sunday after a 'bad' car crash in the Tarzana neighborhood in L.A.

The 'Girl Next Door' star was not seriously injured and taken to the hospital as precaution. Wilkinson described her condition as "really sore" and said she was in shock. The former playmate was later released and

Fortunately for Wilkinson, who is mother to a 3-year-old, doctors released her from the hospital after determining she didn't suffer any serious injuries.

"She was taken in earlier. She was discharged already," another source told US Weekly magazine.

No news yet as to the condition of the other driver and how the accident took place.

Ironically Wilkinson expressed fears of being injured on the ABC diving competition Splash leading her to leave the show early this month.

"I'm so sorry, everybody. It's bittersweet. One thing I don't do is quit. This is the first time in my life I've quit something," she said. "This will haunt me for the rest of my life."
