Rally superstar and all-around badass Ken Block will be doing it big for 2013. Not only will the "Hoonigan" compete in the X Games, Global RallyCross, Rally America, Gymkhana GRID and the World Rally Championship, but he'll be dropping Monster World Rally Team to do it under a new team name -- his own Hoonigan Racing Division. At last, the 2013 Hoonigan Racing Division Fiesta is unveiled!
Block says the new Hoonigan livery is inspired by "80s and early 90s skateboarding graphics, as well as Miami Vice-era offshore powerboats and a dash of hair metal and old school hip hop mixed in for good measure." The sweet color scheme is combined with requisite sponsor stickers and nationality designations via an American flag roof scoop.
Last but not least, Ken Block will once again wow the interwebs with a new installment of Gymkhana. Never one to spoil a surprise, Block says, "I’m working on a very special Gymkhana project with DC for 2013. I can’t comment too much on it at this point, but we’re taking a very different approach to it for this year."
Beyond the new Fiesta rally car, Block is showing off the new Hoonigan Racing Division headquarter as well. Designed to look like a teenager's dream bedroom, the HRD HQ is a 12,000 square foot facility that boasts eco-friendliness. Block divided his office into two main areas-- a workshop and creative design space on one end and a marketing and administration department on the other.
