Keanu Reeves, Sandra Bullock Planning To ‘Make A Go For It’? The Truth

It came as a surprise to many fans when Sandra Bullock admitted last year that she had a crush on “Speed” co-star Keanu Reeves. What was even surprising still was that Keanu Reeves also recently admitted that the feeling was actually mutual — he crushed on her as well but failed to make a move.

Now a publication is reporting that things might not be too late for the actors. Twenty-five years after filming “Speed,” Reeves is reportedly trying to figure out if he and Bullock can now “truly make a go for it.”

The report about Reeves’ allegedly planning to make it work this time came from the latest issue of Woman’s Day, according to Gossip Cop. The publication wrote that a source close to both actors revealed that, despite not acting out on their crushing, the feelings they had for each other never went away.

“It’s clear those feelings haven’t gone away and goes to show what an amazing bond they had,” the source reportedly told Woman’s Day. “When Sandra heard what Keanu had said there was an undeniable knot of excitement in her tummy,” the source added.

However, there’s some uncertainty on Bullock’s part about how to interpret Reeve’s admission that he crushed on her as well. “She’s not really sure how to feel but Keanu is definitely sussing out whether he’s missed the boat on this romance or whether they can truly make a go of it,” the supposed insider also said.

Rumors linking Sandra Bullock to her “Speed” co-star started in December last year when the actress admitted having crushed on Reeves while they were filming the movie. “I’m thinking of how sweet Keanu Reeves was, and how handsome he was,” Bullock said. “It was hard, it was hard for me to really be serious.”

This heated up pretty quickly when Reeves revealed on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” that he felt the same way toward his co-star. However, both actors did not reveal how they felt to each other at that time.

“She obviously didn’t know I had a crush on her either,” Reeves told DeGeneres. “It was nice to go to work, she’s such a wonderful person and a wonderful actress.”

However, fact-checking site GossipCop says that the premise that both actors still have feelings for each other is totally baseless. In fact, Bullock’s admission that she used to have a crush on Reeves was to prove the point that they’re better as friends, not lovers. On the other hand, while Reeves admitted that he used to crush on his co-star, he also “politely noted his feelings for Bullock were not that strong.”
