Katy Perry has releasted her latest music video from her hit single, "Roar." The clip has the singer lost in the jungle and swinging from vines like a pro. The premise of the video is that Katy's plan crashes on a deserted island with her boyfriend, he then gets eaten by a lion leaving poor Katy to fend for herself. Perry then learns to live in the jungle and befriends a cute monkey and an elephant, whom she later on paints her toenails for fun. Later in the clip the lion returns, but this time Katy does not run away and we see a face-off between both fiery animals. Who wins? You have to watch the video below.
"It's HERE! Filmed in Junglescope - my brand new music video. #ROARVIDEO," the 28-year-old singer Tweeted today. Earlier in the week, Perry released a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the video and said, "We are shooting with some very well-trained, very well-mannered animals. One monkey is named Ripley, believe it or not!"
This week has been especially great for Katy as she was able to score another No. 1 hit on the Billboard charts with "Roar" breaking Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" 12-week streak at the throne. The track has become the eight Hot 100 No. 1 in Perry's singing career. This hot single is off of Katy's upcoming album, "Prism," which is slated to drop on October 22 of this year.
