Katy Perry turned to social media to send a message to everyone who is talking about her boyfriend Orlando Bloom’s photos “kissing” Selena Gomez.
“Instead of giving energy and eyeballs to dumb conspiracy,” the “Firework” singer wrote on Twitter. “Check out how cool this is [article link] #dontfeedthebeast.”
The article Perry posted is a TIME magazine piece featuring her handsome beau and his work as goodwill ambassador for UNICEF titled “Orlando Bloom: We Cannot Let Crisis Ruin Education.”
Earlier reports suggested that the 31-year-old California native was a little blue when the news broke and turned to Peggy Lee’s “Is That All There Is?” to express her feelings about the situations, which she later denied with her next tweet.
According to US Weekly, Gomez supported that motion and re-tweeted her fellow pop star’s message accompanied by a praise-hands emoji. She later added, “#killemwithkindness – one day they’ll get it lol.”
On Tuesday, TMZ published a series of images that showed Gomez and Selena allegedly cuddling and kissing in a club in Las Vegas last weekend.
Sources revealed the 23-year-old singer hosted an after-party at Light in Mandalay Bay after performing at the hotel’s concert venue and Bloom received a last-minute invitation to the event.
People present at the nightclub disclosed things got very physical between them as soon as the British actor arrived.
This is not the first time Bloom and Gomez have been romantically linked. In July 2015, various sources reported that the “Hands To Myself” performer was using ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber to cover up her relationship with the movie star.
The actors’ reps have denied all allegations and explained they share the same management so contact at Hollywood events is inevitable between them.
In the past year, Gomez has supposedly dated Zedd, Bieber, Bloom, Charlie Puth, Nick Jonas and Samuel Krost.
