Are Katy Perry and John Mayer back together? The duo recently cozied up for the 4th of July celebrations and Perry posted an Instagram picture of the two of them wearing matching stars and stripes gear as they shared an embrace Thursday at Philadelphia's 4th of July Jam, which Mayer headlined. Her patriotic, cheeky caption reads: "Whose broad stripes and bright stars?!"

A witness told Us Weekly that Perry cheered on Mayer during his performance at Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
"She watched him perform off stage and watched every second of his performance, singing along to every song and dancing," the insider told the gossip magazine. "She was so into his performance and gave him a big hug and kiss when he finished afterwards. She seemed all about him."

The on-again-off-again couple was seen together recently at a Friars Club roast in New York City on June 24 honoring Don Rickles, where they shared kisses and were "very lovey-dovey" with each other, according to an eye witness. They had previously been spotted together at the city's Greenwich Hotel.
Althought the two may seem 100% back together, sources say that Katy only thinks that it'll work this time if John follows some relationship rules.

"Getting rid of his old girlfriends' numbers and no more texting them!" the insider says, adding that was a source of contention during their initial breakup: "John had tons of random girls texting him when he was with Katy before."
