She was recently named "best dressed" after stepping into the Tiffany's Blue Book Ball Gala in a gorgeous Reem Acra dress, that turned heads and stole breaths, but Kate Hudson has one particular heart in her hands, and that's her fiancé's, Muse's front man, Matthew Bellamy.
The singer reportedly surprised Kate for her 34th birthday with a star-studded party she was not expecting at all.
Bellamy organized the bash and "Kate was totally surprised" according to a source close to the couple. They showed up at a friend's house in the West Village in New York and walked into the party, with high-profile guests including Cameron Diaz, Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann.
"The party started outside, but it was freezing so people moved inside and danced" the source said. She was happy and shining in beautiful tight metallic dress. It might have been a more active night than she anticipated before her birthday, as she told Us Weekly that she wanted to spend her special day hanging out with her family.
It looks like Hudson got her dream come true anyway, because she spent her real birthday watching her sweetheart in concert at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey. "They're very supportive of each other's careers. They're so happy together" the source concluded.
