Kate Del Castillo Recruiting Lupillo Rivera For 'El Chapo' Project? Singer, Actress Developing Close Work Relationship

Kate Del Castillo has become el arroz de todos los moles since Rolling Stone Magazine published a piece about Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán Loera, which revealed Del Castillo was maintaining communication with “the most wanted man in the world” after he escaped the maximum-security prison in Almoloya, Mexico in July 2015.

Even though there’s no accurate information about an upcoming film about the drug lord’s life. The approach taken by everyone involved in this case seems to be heading that way. Or at least that’s what they want us to believe…for now.

Rivera, who dedicated his Narcocorrido “Otra Fuga Más” to “El Chapo” Guzmán days after his escape last summer, is already developing a close work relationship with Del Castillo. The powerful duo joined Louis James in his new music video “Tequila,” which they were eagerly promoting on social media right before she was linked to the fugitive.

After the information was made public, Penn declared he has “nothin’ to hide.” The 43-year-old actress has yet to delivery public commentary about the controversial debacle.
