Kash Patel's confirmation as FBI director has unleashed an online frenzy of demands for him to fulfill his promise to release Jeffrey Epstein's infamous black book "on day one," with long-standing speculation that President Trump himself is on the list.

During his Senate confirmation hearing, Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) confronted Patel about the Epstein case, pressing him on her years-long fight to expose those who flew on Epstein's private jet and enabled his trafficking network.

"I ended up being blocked by Senator Durbin and Christopher Walker Ray," Blackburn said. "So will you work with me on this issue?"

"Absolutely," Patel responded. "Absolutely, Senator, child sex trafficking has no place in the United States of America, and I will do everything, if confirmed as FBI director, to make sure the American public knows the full weight of what happened in the past."

"On day one, roll out the black book," Patel has previously said several times. Patel has repeated the pledge to the point it's become the backbone of his agenda.

Epstein, a convicted sex offender, was accused of running a vast trafficking network that ensnared underage girls and involved powerful figures from politics, business, and entertainment. His connections to power players, including Trump, have long raised eyebrows. Trump, who once described Epstein as a "terrific guy" in a 2002 interview, later distanced himself from him, claiming they had a falling out years before Epstein's 2019 arrest and subsequent death in a Manhattan jail cell.

Now that Patel has been sworn in, social media users are holding him to his word.

"Kash Patel literally told us that he would release the Epstein Black Book on day one. Countless politicians, celebrities, and powerful figures participated in a child sex trafficking ring, and we are about to definitively find out who," another wrote.

"Kash Patel confirmed! Release the Epstein list now!" one called for.

"Now that Kash has been confirmed... It's time to bring on the PAIN! Release the Epstein Files," another user wrote.
